Pre Session Care Instructions:

EXFOLIATE. EXFOLIATE. EXFOLIATE.
Pre-session exfoliation is the first step to achieving flawless spray tanning results. It is best to clear away dry, dead skin cells with a sulfate-free scrub from Norvell. This will polish and prep the pH balance of the skin to keep orange undertones at bay.

PREPARE TO BRONZE
As you prepare for your Norvell sunless tan, be sure to wear loose fitting, dark clothing and no jewelry. Tight clothing can run or smear bronzers, especially around the knees, elbows, chest and waist. Before you head to your appointment, there are some important “don’ts” you won’t want to ignore. Deep penetration of the solution is key to a beautiful lasting color.

TIPS TO PREP FOR THE PERFECT TAN
Avoid using bar soaps, high pH shower products or in-shower moisturizers. Be sure to complete any waxing, shaving or use of depilatory creams the day of your spray tan prior to your session. Don’t create a sunless barrier by applying anything to the skin. Avoid applying lotions, creams or perfumes prior to your session. Even use deodorant sparingly. Don’t wear any makeup to your sunless tan appointment, if unavoidable, remove prior to your spray tan.

AFTER SESSION CARE

After session care is important to get the most out of your Norvell Spray Tan. For optimum results, avoid water contact and perspiration until development time has passed (1-3 hours for Express Spray Tans / 8-12 hours for Regular Spray Tans). Once Spray Tan solution development time has passed, a rinse in a warm shower without using soaps or a wash cloth.

Norvell Express Spray Tan: After 1-3 hours rinse off in a warm shower (use no soaps or wash cloth) – 1 hour for a bronze color, 2 hours for a medium bronze color, and 3 hours for a dark bronze color only. Extending the duration longer than 3-hours is NOT recommended for optimum results. Use a tan extender daily to prolong the life of the tan.

Norvell Regular Spray Tan: After 6-12 hours rinse off in a warm shower. Use a tan extender daily to prolong the life of the tan.
